im going to buy some glosso and i was wondering if it is easier to plant it if i buy in pot or loose form.

you want to break it up. don't leave the rock wool on it. depending on how ambitious you are you should break it up into 2-3 leaflets and then plant all your little stems/leaflets in some type of grid pattern so you get even growth.

I go with how many plants I get for the money. The pot is wasted if you are going to seperate out the plants.
I should probably have read your entire post lol.
If you can, avoid buying it in the pot. It's such a pain to pull it apart if it comes in rock wool with all the roots wrapped around the plastic pot.
Before you buy anything from a distributor, though, I would suggest you look around on this forum, The Planted Tank, and Aquatic Plant Central to see if anyone is selling any. You tend to get much better deals and healthier plants if you buy from other hobbyists
