How would I go about planting hornwart? I don't want it floating. Doesn't seem to be doing well that way for me. I had weighted it down when I first got it, and did well. I wanted it to grow more of itself faster so I floated it for a while to no avail. It usually ends up toward to outflow, which is too turbulent to create co2 I guess. I don't really wanna take a chance on any other plants just yet. I've been lucky with my anubias, and now the hornwart. Eventually, I'd like to have some of the swords to create what would feel like a full planted tank. There's so much empty space in my gravel, and I only have a few big rocks and what not. It just doesn't feel finished. Anyway, let me know about planting hornwart.

All you do is bury an inch or two of the stem into the gravel. I find big tweezers handy for things like this. You may find that it doesn't like to stay down, depending on how heavy your substrate is. If that's the case, you can use weights.

If you want more of it, cut each stem in half and replant the top parts. Then let them grow and repeat the process.
