Planting my 20 long

Yeah, feeding snakes in their enclosure isn't a bad thing 99% of the time, but like I said just watch out for them gobbling substrate with their prey. I found it less worrisome back in my reptile days to feed many of my snakes in sterile enclosures and they were none the worse. But whatever makes you and the boa happy is great! I look forward to pics
 
I like that pic what did you use as a substrate for the plants if you dont mind me asking I want to plant the gecko and chameleon tank but alls I have is coco fiber and I was told that it didn't have enough nutrients for the plants and that you have to mix up a certain kind of bioactive soil but I cant find any info on that. The fog in there reminds me of Jurassic park for some reason
 
To be honest this is my first try with plants. The substrate that I have in this tank is just that, coco husk. I will just watch the plants to see what's up with them, if I see there is a problem I will make changes. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I have been keeping boas for wuite some time now and have always fed them in their tank. I just feel like it's weird to feed them outside of their ebclosure. I like eating in my house, y wouldn't they IMO.

my yellow rat snake doesnt eat in his house. i have take him outside. i dont mind cause he normally poops out ther too
 
It looks good none the less The plants I was looking at aren't to cheap thats why I asked Just curious as to what every one else was using I may get a few cheap plants and give my own a shoot Yours looks great
 
If you're looking for types of plants that would work in your gecko tank, look at succulents. I've always used Jade Plant and Aloes and they do great. But make sure to avoid plants with spines.
