Ok so the main title says it all. I am running into a little problem with some sort of bug, that lives its life on my aquatic plants that are at the surface of the water. It does not seem to hurt them but it isn't very nice to look at so i need help in getting rid of them.
Here are some pics that have been taken of th culpret bug.

holy crap, those look like spiders lol, i see the pic is out of the water are the bugs in the tank living under water?
ive never seen this ever and ive seen alot of bugs in tanks but this is wierdooo.

my 1st thought is excel there butt, then id go hydrogen peroxide to see if that kills them.

go to www.plantedtank.net and post this in there plant forums theres alot of people there who know bugs well if you cant get an answer here soon.

Let us know if you do find the answer elsewhere!

Looks like they have 6 legs- so they're probably an insect as opposed to a mite or a spider.

I actually wondered the same thing...

Are there fish in the tank... odd that they would pass up on such a dining plate.

Wow.....yuck. I really hope you find out what the bug is. And can you please share more information, thereafter. Like where you got the plant? When did these bugs appear? And how long you've had them?
