Plants and heaters

Simple question. Will it be harmful to my plants if i allow them to grow in close proximity to my heater? By close i mean surrounding and essentially touching.

Mine do, and I haven't noticed any burning or other damage.

you can get some melting if they are very close to the heater.

Would also add this would depend on which plants they are... some are hardy, vigorous, and can withstand a wider range of temp changes. Others are much more fragile.

right on. another note is to make sure its not breaking up too much of the current around the heater but thats prob not a problem.
