plants and there lighting

do the plants on the out sid edg of the tank get less lighting then in the midle, and if they do does it make a diffrence, its going to be on my 20Gal. and i will have dule T-5s

This would depend on your bulb size and placement.
 
well its the T-5s two of them Pink and whit, and it goes all the way to the ends of the tank and i think it runs 35Wats per bulb
 
They probably get less light, mostly due to the fact that they don't recieve any light from the glass. You could wrap your tank in mylar, that would help, but...yeah...you probably won't like the way it looks.

Mostly, it's plants in the corners. Figure anything directly under the bulbs will get the most amount of light, and the further from the bulb/closer to the glass you get the less light there is. The corners will be lowest. Consider this when placing your plants as some need a lot of light and some don't.

I have 30" Coralife T-5's, and they are 18 watts per bulb. Are you sure that they are 35 watts per bulb?
 
maybe T-5 HO?? even there tho I don't believe they are 35 w
 
im sorry there not 35 w i think it is 18 perbulb
