Woot woot! :perv:

This is what I bought:
  • Java Fern
  • Dwarf Sags
  • and some Amazon sword

I would have liked to of picked up some dwarf grass.. but maybe next time, its all good.

Now the waiting game begins. :D their gettin shipped in from Texas, and I live in AZ.

Do you guys have any recommendations as to fertilizers.. I want them to grow nice and healthy. Im using a 10 gallon tank with 2 x 10w CFL lights. I have gravel, not sand.

Java fern and dwarf sag (with that little light) will not need ferts.

Depending on which Sword plant you got, it may out-grow a 10gal very soon.
PS--A sword will need about 2-3 inches of gravel to root well, this take lots of water/space out of 10gal.

Cool.. If I add some kind of fert, with the java fern and dwarf sag benefit from it at all?

And I ordered this amazon sword... --> http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=320325316087

It says i can prune it if it gets too big.. still, its a nice looking green plant... wouldnt you agree? :D And i have about 2.5inches of gravel in the tank.. roughly 11 pounds of gravel.

^ Will do :D

Man, i never realized how fun this hobby could be.. Everything about it is cool. I am starting off small with my 10 gallon tank.. then with experience I will eventually upgrade to bigger tank(s) Lol :)

listen to tanker she aint gonna steer ya wrong, and that amazon if it grows well will take over your tank
