Plants dying / falling apart - HELP?

some plants are root feeders. your swords would appriciate having some nutrients from under your substrate.
your plants need to have nitrate, phosphate and potassium (N-P-K) they also need micro (aka trace) nutrients. and they need to be available where the plants feed from.
you dont need to stop doing water changes. you can just add nitrate to your tank.

I have about 18 Discus.
I change water 2 times a week 60 to 90 gal per change.
I could try to get some NEW ferts for them I guess.

you can buy spectracide stump remover from lowes. its kno3 (potassium nitrate)

YES - most would say I dont do it often enoughf !!!!
Thank for the tip on Lows and it was BOTh Nitrate and Nitrite that were at ZERO
make sure that the company is spectracide there are other companies that use other chemicals.
remember you need to make sure you have it all. NPK and trace. they are all important!
