so, I just moved my depressing 10g betta tank into a 29g. the only inhabitant is my male betta Shiner, who is currently in a small cup until the tank gets cycled.

so, I am having some trouble choosing plants, and lighting.

I have the choice between 2 20", 15 watt fixtures or a 30" 55 watt PC fixture for light. which should I use? I would rather not have to do Co2 in the system.

for plants, I am thinking amazon swords, java fern, java moss, rotala, and anything else you might care to suggest.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the 55 watt would be a better choice since the wattage on the other light would only be 1wpg.

okay, thanks. I'll have to get that setup soon. Im planning to head to the LFS tomorrow or friday, so I'll pick up some plants while Im there.
