i know that usually u do not want to put plants in a cichlid tank, but in my current tank i have a plant that is always blooming and never is dug up by my cichlids. (although sometimes they like to nip its leaves, but it always grows back within a few days) my question is this: what other plants are lush green that look really nice in a 75 gallon aquarium? the gravel is red/back.

Also african ferns will do well.

Pretty much anything that is tough and hard leaves or stems and is tied to rocks or driftwood.

Except mosses. I have some with my Convicts and they are constantly pulling at it and making a mess.

I will pound this drum one more time.

There are over 1900 species of cichlids. Many commonly kept aquarium fish are cichlids.

Angel fish, German Rams, Kribs, Discus, Apistos.

You can make broad generalizations. Even saying African Cichlids doesn't mean squat. There are many great soft water African cichlids.

If you mean cichlids from one of the big lakes then say that. It's not that hard.

albino socolofi, electric yellow, and a pleco

well i just got back from a fish action and i got v. spiralis. they are really big, but they look really nice in my aquarium and my fish don't dig them up at all. they look like they actually enjoy swimming through the leaves.
