plants for cherry shrimp

Thank you all for ur input, i decided not to get the yabbie untill he can have his own tank.

as for the plants i have alot of spare time to work on the plants.
i'll try to get a pc up of the tank. but right now it has a fairly large peice of root driftwood that i found(24" 17") and i thought it would give them a place to crawl up and cling to.

maybe get some amano shrimp instead. I think mine are really active and never stop working... a blast to watch. also pretty funny when they carry food around.

I planned on cherries because i keep hearing they spead like wild fire and was hoping to trade them to a lfs for some chiclid food.

Also because they skip the larval stage of amanos.

If you can make a top platform out of the water, you could add some crabs.

Mosaic crabs are supposed to be true freshwater... ironically, there's also a marine Mosaic crab from Australia which is the most poisonous crab in the world.

Anyways, I can't find an info sheet on them. Found one store that carries them, franksacquarium.com listed as an Indian Mosaic Crab... and they're out of stock.
