Plants for High Temps

I could use some suggestions on what kinds of plants to use in my next tank. I plan on getting a 40BR quite soon. It will be used as a breeding tank for Celebes halfbeaks.

The temp will be in the 84-85*F range, so I will need plants that can adapt to high temps well. Lighting will likely be in the low to moderate range, and I don't plan to use CO2. Plants that are native to Indonesia (or more specifically, Sulawesi island) would be best if I can find them. If possible, I would like it to be a biotope of sorts.

I will need some floating plants (necessity), as well as fast growing stem plants and midground/foreground plants. Also need something similar to Java fern to attach to driftwood (is Java fern found on Sulawesi, and would it work?).

Can't help with any of the biotope issues as I am woefully ignorant of most plants country of origin.
I do however keep many varieties happy in an 86ºF fairly low light tank with Discus- Amazon Swords, Pygmy Chain Swords, Red Rubin Swords, Water Sprite, Hygrophilia, Onion Plants, Red Tiger Lotus, Jungle Valliseneria. There is nothing floating technically, but the long streaming blades of Onion Plants look really nice trailing on the surface.
Several Anubias, Java Fern, and Java Moss did well also but were removed due to space restrictions.

I've been searching and searching, but still can't find a list of aquatic plants native to Sulawesi. I think I'll hold off on the biotope idea for a bit, and set up the breeder tank with some anubias, sword plants, hygro, and val. Probably java fern as well.

If I eventually do go the biotope route, I think I will make it a community setup, perhaps with some species of pipefish and gobies along with the halfbeaks.

Oh yeah - my new fish arrived today, and are looking healthy! They have quite a ways to grow before they will be breeding age, so I have plenty of time to work on setting up the breeding tank once I buy it.
