I have a 46 gallon bowfront and would like to add live plants if I can without getting new lighting. Are there any plants that will grow in my 46 gallon tank with only 30 watts of light?

Without a doubt....any type of Java fern.
They do require good light to grow quickly, but if your patient they will grow in a low light tank......just rater slowly.
Thats the best thing about them, you can put them in now and watch them grow slowly. A year down the road you may decide to add more light....just watch em thrive then.........
