Plants for Swordtail tank?

I'm setting up a 30 gallon swordtail tank and was wonder if anyone had any suggestions for plants. I am hoping to buy some plants tommorrow at a tropical fish auction in Connecticut. Here are some pictures of the swordtails. I want plants that can bring out their color.

Also, does anyone know where I can find some large male orange swordtails to breed with these females. I got them for free at someone's house who was moving. He hasn't changed up the breeding stock in a while but his fish are just beautiful and I want to keep a good line going. Thank you.

lol, sword plants. how big is the tank and whats the wattage on your lights?

It's not set up yet or bought :lol: but it is going to be a 30 gallon or maybe a little larger and I'm going to add a plant light not sure of the wattage yet I will as my LFS employee what he recommends.

I have alot of water sprite and wisteria in with my koi swordtails they are orange and white and the water sprite is a bright green so it is a really nice contrast if you cant find any water sprite in berlin i would be willing to give you some whether pickup or ship if you cover shipping costs lI am in wallingford let me know

hi. since your swordtails are orange, you would want to get plants that are in total contrast of your fishes. you could get plants with dark green leaves.
