Plants, Hmmm i wonder

Hi all, I'm setting up a tank for small pipefish and was wondering what plants i need to use. the tank isn't very saline (about 1.003), so could i just use freshwater plants or do i need to use special brackish plants.
any help is much appreciated TIA

Most plants simply don't like salt. I'd try tough plants like java fern, java moss, vals and the like. Floating water sprite (and all the prior listed plants) are doing OK in my tank at 1.005 (not great, but OK).
