Well my plants are not doing good, they are turning yellow.

55G, 2WPG, NO CO2, and not dosing with any ferts. Could that be the problem? Not using any ferts?

Plants are:
One anubias round leaf
One Micro Sword

Normal gravel substrate.

Could be a number of things. With plain gravel and no ferts in the water column, my first guess is a lack of iron and/or other nutrients. I'd try using a trace mix with iron and see how they do.

also i've read in a variety of websites that microsword needs really high light to do well, like 3wpg minimum. no personal experience on that though.

Thats what I heard too but Doctors Foster and Smith said 2 WPG would be enough. Anyways I am planning on redoing my substate and going with flourite and using flourish as a fert so hopefully this helps
