Hi everyone,

I have been away from AC for awhile. Just recently that i notice my plants are losing their roots. My 65G tank has been up and running for a year now with normal gravel as substrate, wonderGrow Plus as root tab. Seral months before it was OK. Fert is PMDD Premix, Plantex CSM+B - KNO3 and Phosphate dosing regime is not consistent. DIY CO2 (twin generator), 25% w/c weekly. Light is just over 2w/g (159w T5). The only plant that does well is Hygro.Sessiliflora.

are you having issues with the leaves and stems or is it just roots? did you pull some plants out or something?

by the way. nice tank!

Thanks timwag. I think I have all the issues you mentioned but I may only focusing on the root since the root of my Hygro. Augustifolia on right just rot away. Did not pull any. I am trying to think of the substrate - I did insert 1 or 2 root tabs one or two weeks ago.

1st things I would try are:
Adding magnesium and tripling your CSM+B.

OK Johnes, I would add more mag.and CSM+B. Would report how I am going. I also have some Barr GH booster as well however I only add this occasionally. I forgot to mention my hygro shed a lot of old leaves with pin wholes - kinda deficiency
