hi ive recently got some new plants.
i think it was myrio-green not really ssure but its tall and fluffy.

the top of it which some are exposing light is out of the water will this cause it to turn brown?

ok thanks
i knew it, i was thinking similar to real plants on the ground how it collects water from the root and allow the plant to be hydrated. =P

the plant is slowly turning brown now, even the underwater part

would there be something wrong with my water? or lighting? my other plants species are fine.

to answr your last question you need to give us a whole lot more information about your tank:
tank size:
Type of plants:
co2?
fertilizers?
lighting:

i think its 20gal
i got 4 species of plants, i think its the myrio type that is turning brown the other 3 are fine.
no co2
no fertilisers
i have a white fluorescence light

any help to recover the brown colour to green?
can i leave the light on longer than usual 9hrs cycle?
