Any Thoughts - I have Wet Dry systems on both my tanks and I like them but I read about CO DE-gassing? Any tips or pointers as to how I could make this system more plant friendly? Thanks, Arkangel

The wet-dry system is only a problem if you are injecting CO2 into the tank. With proper lighting and fertilizer CO2 increases the growth rate of the plants. This is not necessary to have a beautiful planted tank. It just makes the wait time less.

On the flip side if you are not injecting CO2, then a wet-dry system is very good for a planted tank. It allows for maximum gas exchange and getting both oxygen and carbon dioxide rich water.
