plants with firemouth

Is there any plants that I can put in my tank that will survive my firemouth and help with the nutrient uptake. The only thing that has survived him so far is a anubis nana. Tank is a 29gal. thankx

yep java fern will survive with any fish just about cause it tastes realy bad and after 1 bit they wont touch it again apart from scats they eat it just for that the entertainment lol

or you could get some more anubis if thats working out

I have kept hornwort, anubias, and java ferns in my tank with firemouths, I have had him for about three years now and have never had a problem, none are planted in the gravel just on rocks and driftwood
