Plase help - 2 fish died

One week back I purchased two clown fish and one blue/neon color fish (don't know the name) from LFS.

I added those three fishes to my 5 months old well established 55G tank with white sand drifter and a yellow algea eater. I too have three shripms - clean up crews. Tanks also contains 20LB live rock and few corals.

The blue fish wouldn't eat from day one and died on second day of arrival. I attributed that could be due to a sickness from LFS.

After six days (yesterday), one of the clown also died :mad2:. He was eating well and don't know the reason for dying. My water parameters looks good with salinity at 1.022, nitrate/nitrite/ammonia being at 0. PH is between 8.2 to 8.4. Water temperature 78-79.8.

What could be the reason that I lost two fishes?. Clean up crew and white and yellow fishes are doing good and eating well. Today the other clown is moving erradically.

I am not sure what to check now?. Any help is appreciate.
 
Pics are needed for your unidentified fish. SW enthusiasts here need to know about your fish. Perhaps relate your acclimation process as well? This may help.

Thanks for the quick response. I have attached photos of white and yellow fish.

I kept two clown and the blue/neon fish in their LFS bag in my tank for about 10 minutes before releasing them into the tank. The drive from LFS to my house is about 20 minutes.Hope this help........

Appreciate any responses to save the clown fish........

the all yellow fish that has small spots on his is not an algea eating fish...that is a yellow watchman goby and should be fed mysis shrimp, flakes,pellets,brine shrimp, nori, a complete variety. I just feed my tank something different everyday two times a day. So in the morning they may get mysis and the evening the get flakes etc..

As for the acclimation 10 minutes is hardly enough time to get the temp. of the water in the bag the same as in your tank. An easy way to acclimate is set a timer for 15 minutes let the bag float, open it and pour in 1\2 to 1 cup of your tank water, set timer again and repeat until the bag is nearly full. Then pour out almost all of the water in the bag and put the fish in the tank. This prevents you from putting your LFS water into your tank except a very diluted version. This also gets the fish prepared for your water temp and paremeters including the pH and the SG levels which could vary greatly from the LFS.
This is not the ideal way to acclimate because your fish are still subject to go into shock..
The best way to acclimate is a drip. I would recommend that. They have plenty of threads here that explain that and another place that even has a video i believe is liveaquaria.com
 
Thank you all for your input. The clown fish is doing normal now and hope she will survive. I will follow the instructions for future acclimation process.
