Plastic Molding

I recently was given a 30 gallon aquarium. The man that gave me the aquarium had built a wood frame around the aqarium. When I broke the wood frame down, there was no plastic molding on the aquarium top or bottom. My question is, where can I buy such molding from, for without the molding at the top a hood will not fit the aquarium without sitting it on the glass itself, which I do not want to do.

Thanks.

what is it, a regular 30? just get the dimensions and call around to the tank maufacturers that make that size. i looked into it before when mine was cracked; i forgot who had them though since i decided to just silicone it back together.
try all glass aquariums or perfecto manufacturing. perfecto makes one for a 36x13.

tell that pet store you'll take your money else where. Go on-line and talk with the tank maker (perfecto,all-glass) they can help, also try bigals and that fish place they might also be able to order it for you. I'm gonna have to do the same thing with my 55.

the store might have had to do a minimum order or some other deal like that so that might be why they didnt want to. just email them at all glass.

I have ordered frames thru Perfecto before. If you can't get your LFS to order them for you go thru perfecto. All-galss will not sell directly to you. It does cost a little more buying direct from perfecto tho. But you will get the frames faster.
