ok so i have this one platy, i know its just a platy.. but anyways she like, doesnt seem to have the ability to hover, she has to wiggle constently so remain floating, and she is always sitting in a bushy plant. what is this about?

I would hazzard a guess and say that there was
somthing wrong with the swim bladder,
but maybe someone else will come up with a different theory.

Then we can help you more. However, my guess would be swim bladder infection. Which of course is always a result of bad water quality. If you don't know how to test your water, go to your local aquarium shop and pick up a total FW test kit, make sure it tests ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.

my water is and has been right on the money for as long as i have had her, i am wondering if it was due to the stress of being the only platy, in a tank of silver dollars and sharks? she always hid. i think it made her go insane?
