Ok here's the story, I got a gold brigs about a couple months ago when i started my tank. Hes gotten HUGE. And just 2 days ago i decided to get another. A lot smaller than my first one. Yesturday when i was doing a water change I saw them what i think is the Hibidy Dibidy. It went on for acouple hours. I dont know when they started. The big guy almost fully covered the little guys shell. So is this what I think it is? Should I start looking for clutches? Should I buy them dinner first?

They are mating. One thing you have to watch out for is that when the female wants to lay her clutch she will try to get above the water line. If the water in your tank is up to the very top she could end up on the floor. Even if you don't want to raise the eggs, she has to release them. So you might want to drop the water line a couple of inches. My snails have also laid eggs on the back of the filter downspouts and in the corners where the clutch is hardly noticeable.

I agree with HollyGirl. That is the Hibidy Dibidy that they are doing. And also like HollyGirl said be sure you check every inch on the tank that is out of the water. They are sneaky little girls when they want to be and they hid those clutches from you.

Be aware that this could be two males. Male brigs aren't picky about the gender of their lovers.... :grinno:
I'd prepare for a clutch as if it's a male and a female, but it's possible you have two male brigs who are just very good friends.
