1st I would love see a picture of your tank!
As for the gouramis, they tend to do poorly with angels in general, but their individual personalities vary greatly in this species. However, IME the larger gouramis 6+" tend to hurass other fish more often (especially smaller ones and fish with flowing fins), but I have seen this behavior supressed until they are nearly full grown and up to a year later...!
I don't have any experience with Silver Dollars...so no help there. BUT I would certainly make a very concerted effort to maintain a heavily planted/sheltered tank to maximize their compatability (I know Silver Dollars love to destroy most plants though).
Lastly, have you had the angels are Juvies? Or more to the point, have the tetras grown with the Angels present? This is another area to keep a watch out for (Otos too). My Angels love new Otos and Neons...
