I was feeding my 25g tank and noticed that my silver angelfish has some brownish sort of spots on its body, it sort of resembles ICH but it's brown spots instead of white? But the spots are not on the (faint) stripes of the angel.

Should I put it in my (small 10g) quarantine tank? It has 4 peppered corydoras in it at the moment though, I recently bought them.

Does anyone know what it is? What should I do?
As some of you may know I am still treating ICH so the temp is up and the tank is 2tbsp per gallon.

Heres are a few photos, Sorry its not good but the spots look sort of like fine grain pepper:

Any help much appreciated!

I've moved the angel to the quarantine tank, and I tested the 25g tanks water.
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 0-10ppm
pH - 7.0

What should I do? I don't want to lose the angel!

I don't see the spots :(

I would keep the water clean- maybe salt and heat, just in case? So sorry, you are just having one hell of a time!!

I would leave the angel in the current tank and not move it since the main tank is going through ich treatment. I don't see any spots and the angel looks healthy. I wouldn't freak out until you start seeing more signs of disease or the angel stops eating.

I know you can't see any spots on the photos but in real life it does have spots that the camera can't catch, it resembles ICH alot, and it didn't have them yesterday, I know that.

It sucks! I'll move it back to the other tank and hope for the best. This is probably my favourite angel of the 3 so I'd hate to lose it.

I almost feel like poisoning this tank and starting again. (Not that I would lol)
But it's so annoying and I've have parasites for nearly a month now and I HATE IT!!!!

Eating and swimming normally? Is she rubbing against any object? any twitching/flashing??

If none, I would wait for futher definitive developments. Try googling Oodinium for comparison

Ok, The angel was eating normally, seemed to swim normally, wasn't scratching/flashing on objects and I will check it out as soon as I get home. Unfortunately that won't be until Sunday so I hope she/he will make it till then :)

Thanks for all of your help!
