Please help ID fish illness

Agree...they've been through a bit of stress recently.

What are your nitrates/ammonia/nitrite reading, and how tested ?

I'd be doing a daily 60% change for a week and hopefully you'd see it begin to clear up. If it spreads more I would consider maracyn, but you're not at that stage yet.

I think its likely systemic as it has shown on two fish. Either way initially increase water changes to daily large changes. Keep an eye on em for a week before you decide to medicate. Hopefully you will get an improvement from just the water changes.

Ok I'll go ahead and do large partial wc's every day this week before dosing any meds, maybe it'll help clear things up. I didn't test my ammonia, nitrate and nitrite because I don't know where my kits are! Just recently moved and am still uncovering a lot of my stuff! :) I think the water quality was pretty poor though, considering the ich treatment didn't fair well for my 2 otos and a couple of my bn's, who all died.

I'm pretty certain it's not a parasite although there's the possibility it could be. At first I did think it was an injury caused by squabbling. Initially I only noticed that my male rainbow had a reddish bump on his body and thought it was from one of the other male rainbows pecking at him, as they do quarrel a bit. It could be 2 different things that the affected fish are going through, as the rainbow's bump is red and the ram's bumps are yellowish. I dunno.

*sigh* This tank had been going so well for a few months 'til I decided to add those darn addicting cories! I'm still all ears for anyone else who has suggestions on what to do to treat my fish, but in the meantime, I'll just be doing large daily wc's. Thanks all!
