Please help ID this fish for me....

I bought this fish today. I that it had nice colors for being like 1 1/2 inches. The guy at my LFS said it gets about 4 inches, but I completely forgot what he called it. Please help ID this for me.

thats not the fish....the colors arn't there

it doesn't look like an African cichlid to me ... more like a Pelvicachromis taeniatus or subocellatus type.

Looks like a juvinile Krib to me. The sci name is Pelvicachromis pulcher

he is. For the most part no problems yet.

I can see that, but that still makes them Africans...
