Please help ID this horrible face-monster thing

just leave it in there. add some floaters for it to hide in. it's a white cloud fry, a day or two old. they start swimming at 3 days. nothing needs to happen for them to breed, they just do. i suppose the guppy may eat it but there will probably be more. mine will have two or three fry survive from each batch when left in the main tank or twenty to fifty if i put them in the breeding tank. mine tend to 'hide' on the silicone.

Could I raise it in like a 1 gallon container with copious amounts of java moss and elodea?

as long as there is some sort of filtration. preferably a sponge filter

if you do the 1 gal thing you should do water changes of about 30-50% every day to make sure the water is clean.

I laughed so hard. I was thinking it was this horrible parasite thing and then I saw this lil cutie fry. Man, you have been watching too many horror movies. You can just let nature take it course or maybe add some more hiding spots like suggested. You may get fry from time to time, so you have to decide if you really have room for them or not.

So, let me get this straight... "mrbigmuscles" was frightened out of his wits, by..... A baby fish?

Oh, boy, that one is gonna be hard to top...

Oh that's adorable... on the verge of being sigworthy, as well.

Best of luck with your cute little monsters!
