Got this plant from my lfs. Kindly help me ID it.

Not sure, but it seems non aquatic.

You'll be pleased to know it is aquatic, but I find it a bugger for dropping its lower leaves.

Here is mine a few months ago. This plant had only one stem when I first got it back in January. If you can I'd place it somewhere where it'll not get in the way or cover over some other low level plants.

This pictures were taken about a two months ago.

Yes, hygros have a tendency to become bare at the bottom of the stem...

Mind, it's not as bad as Alternanthera. I think I've finally got enough light for that to grow and not look like palm trees.

My Hygro "angustifolia" is still small enough that it's bottom leaves are in tact...I just hate the look of the bare stems.
