I have found these new HH. During the day, both of these critters stay hidden and they only come out at night.

The HH in the first 2 pics kinda looks like Grins Orange Tip anemone, but I can not see the foot to verify, so it is very difficult to ID. The tips of its tentacles seem to have white collored balls.

The HH in the 3rd picture retracts into his hole very quickly when startled. (sometimes by the flashlight I shine on it) (maybe some type of worm)

Thansks.

possibly though very hard to tell by these pics.

I know they are a little hard to see in these pics.

I have looked at pics of majano and other glass anemones and I do not think either of the 2 critters I found are the same.

The tentacles on on of them are clear. The only reason I found it was because of the little balls on the tips of them.

Hope this helps.....

It does look like a ball anemone yes. There are different color variants when I looked before. I have one that isn't orange, and has a single very bright neon green ring around the center area and no visible color elsewhere except for the white tips.

Thanks Grins.
Any idea what the HH in the 3rd pic might be?

I guess I will have to keep my eyes on this thisng.
Are there some types of aptasia that ONLY come out when it is dark?

As for the worms, I was under the impression that the spaghetti worms are harmless. Is that indeed the case?
