My regal tang is definitely sick, but I can't figure out whether it's ick or not. He has a few small white spots, but the main noticeable symptom is a broad whitish-gray, rough looking arc just under the rear part of his dorsal fin. This has come on suddenly (1-2 days), and in the meantime there hasn't been any major change in water condition, feeding, etc. Here's a picture:

It's a bit fuzzy, but if you have any ideas, experience, etc. please reply!
Thanks,
Pete

Welcome to Aquaria Central! To me that kinda looks like HLLE (Head and Lateral Line Erosion which is a huge problem with Angels and Tangs if fed imporper diets). What are you feeding him? Ich is obvoius if the fish has it (especially with Tangs) as they get little white dots all over their body, looks like lice/dandruff. Doesn't look like he has ich but the pic is kinda fuzzy. Is he acting normal or no? What are the specifics (tank size, tankmates, water params ammon, nitrite, nitrate, ph, s.g., etc) Anyway hope this helps and good luck!
