Please help: Stop killing dogs in South-Korea

I:clap: you for trying to make a change. your heart is in the right place.

Funny how an action can be seen by some as someone having their heart in the right place, and seen by others as a blatant attempt to force people away from an important protein source for no particularly good reason.

The world would be a far better place if more people had their heads on straight and fewer had their hearts in the right place. Basing policy/law on emotions is always a bad idea.

yeah, that's why I said..Good luck..you're going to need it
i am more in favor of divers sticking to the guns so to speak.

tho I personally, don't see other countries Idea of food any different than my countries food .
in this case the dog is considered live stock.

When I said, 'They stop caring about the animals' that's what I meant. I couldn't find the vocabulary skills to come up with 'desensitized'. And that's perfectly fine to be desensitized, but I'm just saying, animals need better conditions to be kept in.

Yes, I also understand in some situations it's the only thing to support your family, and I respect that.

I know some people only see it as food, but it also makes me a bit repulsed to see what they go through (the one cow had throwup dripping all over it's face... maybe thats why they cut it off?). It just seems wrong to me, of course, I've never intentionally killed an animal, maybe that's my problem. Hah, I need to go out and get some desensitizing done.
Anyone up for some hunting?

Hunting is a whole lot more humane that a slaughter house. Anyone that is a responsible hunter not a poacher, always goes for the humane kill, a shot placed, that will down an animal in seconds. And if you do wound an animal you track it and put it down. Plus a wild animal is not caged, and hunting seasons last a couple of weeks, not year round.

I am sorry but we eat pigs which are far more intelligent than dogs. I dont see teh difference between tehm. Even if there was a difference, countries like South Korea and China are not going to change their ways.

Isn't dog still eaten in the Philippines also? I am almost certain it will still be being eaten in Vietnam. I don't know about China--however, I suspect it would also be eaten there. Not eating non-cloven hoofed mammals is a Christian belief, right?

I believe the French love their horse meat!

Yea , you can still get Dog meat in China but not Taiwan.
