So I can dose this dry. What else would I need in the way of ferts. Is there a complete mix that would give me the macros and micros and trace elemnets that I would need or do I need to buy seperate ferts.

While doing my 50% water change today I decided to clean some of the filter media in the canister filter, I rinsed out the sponges and pads in old tank water. I did not touch the bio media. When I opened the filter I could not believe what the water looked like. There was all kinds of junk in the water and the water was almost black with a slight foul smell to it. I rinsed out the filter body and added clean water with water conditioner and stability in it, I continued with the water change not starting the filter until I was filling the tank up with new water. So I am thinking that it was the water in my filter that was causing all my Problemes. The lights are now out on the tank and all I have on are the dining room over head lights and I can actually see in the tank
