Hi. Seems I have a hitchhiker, pic below. It looks like some kind of snail, about 1/2 inch long with a black and white checkerboard pattern on his shell. Is it safe? He's staying on the zoo, and doesn't seem to bother it too much. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I know: When in doubt pull it out. But it looks cool so I'd like to keep it.

LOL!!!!!! When in doubt pull it out!!! Don't though, was just laughing at it

I belive they are called sundial snails and that they eat zoas. Let me do a little looking.

Thanks Jojo22. That looks pretty close. Anybody else?

Looks like what jojo said to me and it looks like it's already damaging! I don't support killing it though, I'd put it in my sump/fuge, or give it to a LFS or someone with a FOWLR.

I don't have a fuge, just a wet/dry. Maybe I'll take it back to the LFS.
