Please Help!!!!!

Hang on to the tank. This might be a good time to return the pleco and the frog.
You have found a good place here to learn how to start up a tank without loosing all the fish.
Almost EVERYONE will have fish die when they start out.
If you want, people here can help you step by step have a better experience next time.
Maybe reading isnt as fun as geting fish. but it is a lOT more fun that loosing fish.as you can see, this Cycling a tank is the first thing to understand. They almost never tell you about it when you buy fish. And it can make ALL the difference !.
If you have a tank with a filter and a heater and no fish, you are in the Perfect position to start fresh and do it right this time. you can end up with an awesome aquarium.
I hope you give it a shot.

Well your really 3/4 there. You have learned from your mess ups, found a good site, and already tried but didn't succeed. So now you can take a few moments to learn, and get a fell for the tank. I lost a few fish when I begin, in fact most of us probably did, but none of us gave up. We learned and tried again.

one of the black skirts survived! I put it in the tank with my female beta. (she isn't being aggressive at all) Here's my game plan, I'm going to leave the frog and the plecto in the tank. I'll wait till the bacteria bloom is over and the tanks "cycle" is well established, them I'll introduce the tetra back (if the amonia is at 0 ) them possible put a few more community fish in!

Once your tank bacteria is established, and your amonia is zero add your fish slowly. I know how you feel, but the problem is most of the stores are out to sell fish and do not know anything about how to keep fish. They give bad advice and when they die you think it is your fault. Hang in there and once the tank is ready for fish it will be a lot easier.

<Sniff Sniff> My last tetra just died also (elev in perfect water) So, what Kind of algae eater should I get?

Don't get anymore fish until your tank is cycled. Then a couple oto cats would be the perfect algae eater for your tank because they stay small.
