Please ID this plant...Heavy photos

I wonder what you mean by Plant Tubes?
If you mean getting it throw mailing order or online
it wasn't the case, The truth is i stood myself in the LFS and picked them up from a tank filled with them

If you mean they have a stiff stem, I was wondering how an Aquatic plant may have such a stiff stem
have you ever gone into your lfs and seen the plants with gel around the roots in clear tubes? they are supposed to be aquatic according to the label but i have yet to see one that is aquatic. the plant in question though seems to be one that is commonly sold in those tubes. now that you know you will notice them for sure... the rest of us sure have... or will. and yes you must promise yourself not to ever buy a plant in a tube for your aquarium. it's your best bet, but apparently the sneaky lfs you go to had brighter ideas for marketing them. guess they figured out folks are catching on.

In fact i can't blame them in that LFS
The same shop was marketing Guntea Loach as a type of Catfish :eek3:

It looks like the types of plants that they sell at PetSmart in the plastic tubes.

in a way i agree, but there should be some kind of education involved for this type of work. unfortunately it is not too easy to convince someone they must be educated to make $7/hr. so yeah, but ummm :help: the customer says and :evil_lol: says the owner usually instead of :eek3:... :headshake2: if you know what i mean.

edit... i do that alot huh?: this industry reminds me of construction. example: a carpenter gets really good at making wood structures, laying tile and hanging drywall so he starts a company as a general contractor. next thing he knows he's doing electrical and plumbing with no prior experience. what happens next... failure. the worst part you, the customer are expected to pay him to practice on your house even more. what a load.
