Nice oscar tank. My sister had a piece of driftwood that looked just like yours. The tiger oscar is adorable!!

This was one way I had my tank setup. But due to having Oscars, it changes quite a lot.

the jewel cichlids are awesome though

I agree the Jewels are an awesome fish however they are not Malawian if I am not mistake. Aren't they African Riverine?

Oh, yeah. I know they are not Malawian, I was just commenting on how pretty the jewels are. I dont know if they are African Riverine, my friend has some jewels and they are mean.

well, it is gorgeous.

Here's my 55 gallon mbuna set up. This is from a little while ago, they are bigger now I have some hornwort in my tank. The fish eat it but it grows fast enough to compensate. I hate all the needles though. I heard java fern tasted bad so I will be replacing it with that soon

The jewels were only in that tank because they are really mean and the other africans are all that could stand being with them.
