My 10 has 3 white clouds, 2 pearl danios, about 6 algae eating shrimp, one ghost shrimp, and a number of small snails along with live plants. Stick with smaller snails. There are better foods than flakes. I feed Hikari Micro Wafers, Hikari Guppy Food, I even feed Hikari Cichlid Gold baby sized pellets, they grab run and hold on to it as it softens.
