Please Wear Your Seatbelts and Drive Safe!!

My driving instructer had the same thing happen to him but he did not die and it was in a jeep and he had no belt on and he was thrown out and his legs had nothing but bare meat on them after the crash and I have learned how important a belt is and for me, its a habbit of putting my belt on and I am affriad to ride in a car without a seat belt cus I have seen what all can happen without wearing them.

Well, I just wanted to thank you all for the kind thoughts. We spread his ashes yesterday, it was a sad but good moment. We spread them over his favorite lookout point. I may not be posting as often as I have been as I now have the responsibility/honor of helping and supporting his wife in looking after and supporting his children through this hard time. I just hope none of you have to go through what my family and those two kids are going through.

I am so sorry for your loss! A year ago yesterday I lost my father who was hit by a car while on a bicycle. He was in a coma for a week before he died, so at least I had a chance to tell him I loved him. Besides wearing a seat belt, if riding a bicycle, please wear a helmet. I might still have my dad today if he had been wearing one. :sad
