Pleco Algae wafers

I may be wrong, I am only speaking from what I have been told. I'll try a google tommorrow and see as I would hate to think I am not looking after mine properly

Wheres a pleco expert weh you need one???

Hope I can help in this. I've had mine (used to be 2 and soon will be 2 or maybe more soon) for a while and eats anything. I give him 2 algae wafers, every other day, as soon as the light goes out. Their usaully gone within 1 hour. He's 17 inches and alone. He seems to not be harassed by the oscars as bad that way. If I feed during the day he seems to be skitish on going out in the open. Granted, if the oscars screw with him he'll screw em up right back, and the oscars usually lose, but he still doesn't like being in the light if he can help it. He eats leftover shrimp, chicken, beef, anything that the oscars and arowana won't eat, and does a good job of that. Anyone who says they eat algae, well................
