I have a 4" common pleco I recently introduced in my tank to take care of an algae problem but recently I noticed my echinodorus have small holes in the leaves would the pleco do this ? it isn't a nutrient problem for sure . what do you think ?

It might not be a nutrient problem for your Echinodorus but it could very well be a nutrient problem for your plecostomous. Supplementing his diet would likely lessen his appetite for the live plants. Is the algae growth eliminated?

yeah the algae prob is gone and this one wont take the usual wafers or cukes etc. plus I have a green pleco w/ white spots 2" who seems to also enjoy the same leaves lol.
