I'm thinking of getting a pretty or clown pleco, what should i feed them and do the do well with gold fish?

What kind of goldfish? What temp are they at? Most will not be happy in with a goldfish--they are stressed by waste levels typical of goldies, and prefer tropical temps, not the cooler temps used for goldfish. You also have to make sure any sucker type fish is adequately fed, or they will start sucking on the goldies for the slime coat--very bad!

I thought they were herbovores ohh yeah and they r shubunkin and a common or commet doent really know

As far as the goldfish go, I'll let other handle that but be sure you have room and everyone will be happy.

As far as feeding the clown is mostly herbivourous, so algea wafers, blanched ( or otherwise softened) veggies such as zucchini, cucumbers, romain lettuce, canned green beans, ect. Almost all pleco's like some driftwood to cling on and rasp as well.
