Pleco for 20

So I saw a pleco today at the lfs that I had not seen before. They list it as a "Rubber Lip Pleco" (Chaetostoma Thomsoni) and LiveAquaria lists it as the Thomasi Pleco (L-188a). I couldn't find the L-number on PlanetCatFish, but they have a listing for Chaetostoma Thomsoni that is very short and doesn't say much about them. I found some information here http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/myfish/21-Bulldog_Pleco_Chaetostoma_cf_thomasi.html but there doesn't seem to be much consistency in what I have read.
So does anyone have one of these? Do they like algae? How big do they get? (I have found max sizes listed from 3" to 10")
Also, does anyone have a picture of their tail? That is the one thing that I don't really like the look of.
