Pleco for 33g

What would be a good pleco to have in a 33g?
So far I have 6 Rainbow praecox and 4 spotted corys.

I would like one that stays under 3" if there are any, but under 5" is good too. Thanks for the help

Definitely a bristlenose. I love those guys, but they can get to be 5 inches.

What do you want the pleco for? Cleaning up algae or just for looks? Most of the smaller pleco species are very poor algae eaters, and some of them need to have driftwood in their diet. If your looking for an algae eater there are better options than a pleco. If you just want to have one for looks you can't beat a L260 Queen Arabesque. Here is a pic of my L260.

I would like a pleco for algae cleaning. Are there any small species that would be suitable? What about a zebra or chocolate zebra pleco? Or Bristlenose or rubberlipped?

Didn't you just post that you bought 4 cory and a common pleco a few minutes ago? And you said you knew he would be too big?

yes i did but I also said that I would be returning him. That's why I am asking which small plecos are good for algae cleaning, because I need to go and get a new one.

well, a farlowella would be good. they're really fascinating fish, and industrious algae eaters. they do get to be around 8" long, but all that length is in their bodies, because they are twig imitators in the wild.

If you can find true zebra plecos they will cost anywhere between 2 and 3 hundred a piece. They are also not algae eaters. I know there are some other plecos that people are calling zebra's but you would need the exact L number to see what it's diet is. The chocolate zebra pleco (L270) is more of a carnivore than a algae eater. I've never kept a rubblerlip so I'm not sure about there ability to eat algae. Of the list you've posted I'd say go with the bristlenose if you want a pleco.
