Is there a pleco that will be suited for a 55g, light to med planted tank? His tankmates will be dalmation mollies and a few cory cats.

I would go with an albino pleco, theyre cheap adn readily availible at many lfs stores (well, around here, yes. =P)

msouth, I have a lemon spotted/head pleco that is just beautiful for a pleco.... might want to try one of those. I've had this little guy for about 5 years and he's never had a problem.

I looked at those and I like them. I'm not sure yet what I will get.

arent corys a little better to keep in a 55 then keeping a pleco in a 55?

Cories are omnivorous/carnivorous, they're great for extra food and stuff in the substrate, but they rarely touch algae...

Depends on the pleco. I'm just going to get a small one if I do. I don't know if I want to put up with cleaning after one.
