hey everyone i have a question about a rubber lipped plecostomus i have in my tank. i have had him for about 2 or 3 weeks and im afraid he might have ick. he hid for a few days without coming out (yes i know they are nocturnal) he has been in the same spot and the same position for about three days. he has bigish white spots going down his back and like one or two on his dorcel fin. PLEASE HELP!!!!!! he is my older brother fish.:1zhelp:

That looks like velvet or cotton, I had this exact problem with my guppies. PimaFix and MelaFix do not work, no matter what your LFS says. Get Maracyn-Oxy, its the only med that I found that worked. It's like 15$ or less, but the treatment may take a couple days. Also, not to scare you but be prepared for the Pleco to die, I lost a lot of my fish to this. But I did try pima and mela and coppersafe before the Maracyn-Oxy, so get it fast, and treat it fast and you should be fine. Hope this helps!!
