I picked this guy up at petco tonight for $2.50. Seemed like a good deal. I'm not positive on what one it is though. Petco had him labeled as a Columbian spotted pleco. I'm leaning towards maybe a sailfin? Anyone have any idea?

Ya I was think it was Glyptoperichthys gibbiceps but the second one you posted also looks a lot like it as well. Now I'm more confused
There's quite a bit of pattern variation in gibby's. You got a really really pretty one. Hope you've got a good sized tank for him, he's going to grow up fast!
Yes 90 gallon so I think he should be fine in there. Im reading 17' max for the gibby and 10-12 for some of the others that it might be.
No way its a scarlet (L114) If it is from Petco that animal came from Segrest farms and is a sailfin.

defo a gibbicep, i got one about 9 months ago, that size, now he's about 10 inches long!! beautiful looking!!
