If suppliers correctly identified their fish arguments like this woiuldn't happen. Most LFS' just write whatever is on the invoice on the sign for the fish. For the record, L029, L075, L091, L128, L187a, L200, L235, L240, L244, LDA30, and LDA31 are all Plecos native to Colombia that possess distinctly spotted patterns in addition to L087, the gibbiceps. While the gibbiceps is by far the most common and cheapest of these fish any one of the above perfectly fits the description. Without a pic it's a guessing game.

I guess I'm a bit biased as my first love was Killies and with them you don't have a choice, but really it's no harder to learn a Latin name. It's just two words you have to remember.
