Pleco size?

pl*cos grow up to 12 inches.

but puffers don't live in brackish waters?

some plecos grow 2", not all grow to 12".. which is small for a commno pleco anyways.

I own a lemon spotted one and he's great. A little on the shy side but I have high hopes that he'll come around.

how big is your tank Spud? If they only have a common, I would put it off for now, especially if you have less than a 55 gallon tank at the moment.

It's just over 30G.
I don't want the pleco getting too big, 7 or 8 inches would be about the right size.

rubber lipped plecs are great, they get up to five inches.

Five inches...
Spud might eat it if its 5 inches...
